Our expertise in leather dates back to more than two decades. Sourcing best quality leather from renowned tanneries worldwide and transforming the leather into exquisite products is our forte. Design and fashion being part of our instinct, we also indulge in creating swanky leather products such as bags, shoes, belts, house décor, etc.
Upon client request, we can manufacture any of our creations in fabric or synthetic leather to best suit your need.

Murtaza Merchant is the mind behind Purple 9. He emerged with the idea to combine his passion for design with his experience in leather. Being the grandson of Rasulbhai Adamji and heading the prestigious Rasulbhai Adamji & Co , leather store for over 2 decades, gave Murtaza enormous experience in the leather world inside out.
After a short stint as a model in his early days and studying fashion design, Murtaza returned to his roots in the leather industry.
He is a fond curator of leather hides.
Inspired by his passion for fashion and his in-depth knowledge of leather, he decided to foray into the world of designing furniture. Having spent years in tanneries and workshops, he is well versed with leather processing and furniture making.
Many of his designs have been a runaway success for his clients. What sets him apart is that his designs are a perfect blend of comfort and style. He is versatile in his approach and is receptive to fresh ideas, and always willing to share his knowledge with his clients.
